Apple has forecast a boost in iPhone sales over the holiday season, following a surge in demand for the iPhone 17 in recent weeks.

The US tech giant expects profits to rise by 10 to 12% year-on-year over the final three months of the year, with revenue from iPhone sales anticipated to reach double-digit growth.

Apple’s Chief Financial Officer, Kevan Parekh, attributed this trend to the successful launch of the iPhone 17 last September.

iPhone sales account for nearly half of Apple’s total revenue, and sales are expected to continue climbing as the festive season approaches.

Despite US tariffs, Apple has maintained the prices of its smartphones while adding some basic new features.
